I am amazed by the season of fall. It is by far my favorite and one that I wish would last longer. So far this fall of 2007 has been quite memorable. Let me share with you what has already taken place in these few short weeks.
1. The leaves have started changing colors!
2. My close friend who is not saved came to church with me for the first time and asked to come back!
3. My support raising has been taken to a whole new level. Yesterday I shared a quick update at my church and at the end of the service people started coming up to me and just handing me money. It was crazy and a blessing and I walked away with $500 in my hands! God is great!
4. God has provided work for me and my bills are getting paid!
5. This morning I walked outside and watched the leaves swirling on the ground. The sight of them being blown around in a circle and the sound they made was just cool. I love God's creativity!
So what can I say this fall is blowing me away. God is revealing Himself to me in new ways. I am currently studying the book of Acts and it is a crazy journey that those men went on. I desire to live each day as a crazy journey for Jesus. I am thankful for the lessons I am learning through God's Word. There are days of tears and days of joy, but through each day God is pushing me and stretching me and I love it!
Keep praying that support will come in and details will fall into place for Kenya this coming January!
Psalm 19: 1-4a
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth; their words to the ends of the earth."
